This page explains how to delete your account in the KentPlanner mobile application, developed by Kent Kart Ege Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Kentkart).
KentPlanner accounts are not created through the application; your account is defined by the organisation that assigns the application to its personnel. Deleting your account ends your access to the operations you carry out through the application. We recommend that you speak to your organisation before submitting a deletion request.
Deleting from within the app
- Open the KentPlanner application and sign in to your account.
- Go to the My Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning in the confirmation dialog and confirm.
Once you confirm, your account is closed and you are returned to the sign-in screen.
If you cannot access the app
If you have uninstalled the application or cannot sign in to your account, you can send your deletion request to [email protected]. State the username of your account and the name of the organisation you work for.
To allow us to verify your identity, send your request from the e-mail address registered to your account.
Data that is deleted and retained
Your account is closed upon your request. Your name, e-mail address, personnel registration number, profile photo, account and authorisation details, session key and device identifier are deleted within thirty days.
Voice call recordings, images shared through the application and the feedback you submit are retained for a limited period in order to detect misuse and maintain security. Access and transaction logs, together with data subject to a statutory retention obligation, are likewise retained for the relevant retention period. Once that period ends, these records are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
For assignment and trip records, the data controller is the organisation that assigned the application to you; that organisation determines how long those records are retained.
